Balinese garden style creates an ambience of tranquility and heaven. You too can turn a little empty corner into a paradise of Bali and enjoy its beauty and enhancement sitting right at your home. All you need to have is few basic elements for Bali garden design. Here, is a list of those elements to create Balinese garden.

Location: Selecting a location is the very first job to do.  You can choose any location in your home, such as backyard, terrace or anywhere outside your house which is visible from your living room or family room.

Plants: Of course, plants is the most integral element of Balinese garden and for this you need to choose tropical plants, such as palm, bamboo, foliage, Irish, Spatipilum, Filodenron, Tricolor, Adenium, etc. If you want to have a shaded area blend with Bali natural impression then choose adenium obesum (kamboja jepun). For rural landscape opt for Thypa plant, these are very similar to paddy (rice plant).

Decorative ornaments: Balinese garden is more than just planting. It also includes some decorative ornaments, which distinguishes from the rest of gardening types. The basic ornaments used in this style are Bali statues, flower pots, umbrellas, specially designed furniture, Bali design carved on wall, Bali stone, etc. You can put more effects by spreading coral stones, Bali styles stones, any art pebble, or any natural stone to create harmony landscape along with statues. To complement this garden with fencing, use pebble mosaic on fencing or cement fence in its original form and without painting.
